It started with retirement to Pocono Farms in Coolbaugh Township. That led to road trips all over the country for Bob and Linda Penett. That road time, inevitably, led to boredom. So on those long drives on whatever road in whichever state, Bob Penett would grab a guitar and start singing while his wife was behind the wheel. While possibly channeling "Weird" Al Yankovic, Bob Penett would make up his own parody-style words to famous songs. Most of them revolved around golf. "They were funny," Linda Penett said of the songs. "They kept us entertained on those rides."
Fast forward — the Penetts, both 58, became so enthused about the little diddies that they've recorded and released 20 of the golf-related songs on a new CD, "Golf Amnesia," available now at about two dozen local golf pro shops and on iTunes.

Showing that golf and good humor know no bounds, Bob Penett's humor received a small mention in the March 2009 issue of Golf Malaysia.
