About Golf Amnesia

Our musical background is limited. I played some solo guitar in bars back in
the early 80s. Linda sang in the church and grammar school choirs in Montreal in her childhood. We have both taken some guitar and singing lessons for brief periods of time. We are big time listeners of rock, classical and jazz.

Golf-wise, we played for fun a few times a year for most of our adult life. Ten years ago, I broke my ankle and had to give up softball and basketball. This created an increase in our golf time. We took some lessons and began to make some visits to the local driving range. Things were kept on the fun side, we usually did not keep score, not having any true idea of the rules.

In 2006 we retired and moved to Pocono Farms, Pennsylvania, which featured a PGA golf course. Joined the Country Club and started a completely new involvement in the game. Despite slow progress, after a couple of hundred rounds of golf and thousands of range balls, we have enjoyed three seasons of good times with great people here at the Farms. They have taken the time and effort to teach us how to abide by the rules and to PLAY THE TRUTHâ„¢.
